State employees wishing to fly from Jackson (JAN), Memphis (MEM), Mobile (MOB) , or New Orleans (MSY) can only book flights that are cheaper than the State Contract Fares Rate. Check this form to find the appropriate rate for your destination (if there is a rate for your destination). If there are no savings to the state over the contract rates, then you must book your flight through one of the approved State Contract Travel Agencies There are currently no Contract Air Fares from Biloxi/Gulfport (GPT), Columbus (GTR), Laurel (PIB), or Meridian (MEI) so you are are free to book "the lowest and best rate" from these airports to your destination. |

There are no out-of-state hotels contracted by the state Department of Finance and Administration so you can stay where you please in accordance with state guidelines. If you are attending a conference you will normally want to stay at the the hotel where the conference is being held. If unavailable or too expensive, check out our rates at other area hotels! For in-state hotel rates, consult the state contract rates. |
